The Peterborough Players is a professional theatre company that produces 9 plays in the Summer, 3 in the Winter and plays host to screenings of the Metropolitan Opera, London's National Theatre and the Bolshoi Ballet among other events.

A week ago, the stage was filled with Bliss and laughter. And now there is just a ghost light. Theatre is a special and unique art. One that is collaborative, one that is meant to be experienced with others, one that is ephemeral. We are so grateful for the incredible artists who came out to the woods to help us create magic all summer long and those wonderful people who came and sat in the barn to watch it all unfold.

The Players has always been a place full of Bliss. In fact, did you know that we first shared Hay Fever with audiences in 1940? And then again in 1976. And again in 1995 (with a lovely Connan Morrissey as Sorel Bliss). And again in 2025 (with a lovely Connan Morrissey as Judith Bliss). Once you have had Hay Fever, you will likely get it again. And that is a very, very good thing.
