I have always had an eye for organization and event planning. My first job was at a party supply store and from the first day I knew it was my thing. Thanks to my boss whom allowed my creativity to soar I found my passion. I have been blessed with so many things and once again find myself back in action with what I have always loved to do, CREATE!! Looking to add a personal touch to your next event? Raw footage of a year ago when the winds were blowing like never before and the aftermath when my sons, brother and dad went back to check on our home. I cried for days looking at the videos and remembering the homes and businesses that were gone. Scared of the uncertainty if the winds would pick back up and ambers reignite. Our lives changed that day. Days after I stayed glued to the news channels. I was somewhat relieved because my family was safe in my brother and sister in law’s home. The feeling of relief that our home was still standing would quickly disappear with the overwhelming grief of seeing my community destroyed and devastated. 6 months later we returned home. Now the smell of burning wood or even someone BBQing puts me on edge and my anxiety goes to the roof. I drive through town still remembering the homes that are gone wondering if the property owners made it out on time or if they are thinking of rebuilding or not. It’s now been a year and life is coming back to Altadena. Today on my morning drive I noticed a few more new homes being built. That site made me happy for them. For a new beginning. Altadena strong!
