Being interested in Astronomy & Space Exploration since a little kid, our latest Event Lighting Job was a blast! NASA Mars 2020 (Mars Exploration Program that includes the rover Perseverance & small, coaxial helicopter Ingenuity!) We had the honor & pleasure of providing the ambient, decorative, & production lighting for this event held at The Athenaeum (Cal Tech.) This included highlighting the scale model on display, photo op, general areas, bars & buffets, Terrace & Patio; interiors, & guest check-in. Next, we move on with JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) to Jupiter!!

Wow, it's been awhile - but we're back! (1st large production event in almost 20 months...)
Happy to say: This past weekend we had the privilege & pleasure of providing the lighting & sound production elements for our newest Automotive Client - Faraday Future! The location - a beautiful residence overlooking the Pacific Ocean from Rancho Palos Verdes. The reason: The Faraday Future FF91! We provided all decorative, ambient, & display lighting, and sound for this private reception in honor of this newly launched Electro-Vehicle. Last night was a first, and it was a blast!! As one of many casualties of these very difficult times, high school proms across the nation were cancelled. I had the privilege and creative opportunity to work with a school dean of a local high school to bring some sort of special, prom night happiness to their graduating seniors. This experience was enjoyed as a single community through a Zoom meeting we called "Prom Preview" (Hopes of something more to follow...) The young ladies got to do their hair, makeup applied & prom dresses worn. The young men got to wear their suits & tuxes, (and do their hair too!) And everyone participated in listening to a live DJ mix show of the songs they requested, win raffle prizes real-time, see each other and how they looked, post their Chats online, and most importantly, if only for a single hour of their young lives, forget how much the world has changed - and just enjoy Prom Night with their buddies...
I could have received no greater reward than to see their smiling faces. (All 168 of them!)

We'd like to welcome our newest member to our family of clients - adidas! Over the summer we assisted on several events for their newest, empowering campaign - adidas WOMEN LA! Some of the events included: a West Hollywood hotel rooftop, Women's World Cup Soccer Event; Naam Yoga for over 100 participants; and a Boot Camp Challenge on Santa Monica Beach! We look forward to many more, upcoming events in the future!

Art is Fun! Especially, when we get to participate in the Presentation of it. For the Pasadena City College "Hometown Legends Series" at The Armory (Pasadena), we were responsible for Highlighting the Hung Art of Sigrid Burton. The event featured a Q&A with the artist. Our lighting treatment included Lighting the pieces, creating an overall Ambiance, Highlighting the stage, and Branding the event with a Custom Gobo projection.

FILM still lives!! We were part of a tribute to Analog for the second straight week as Kodak honored those professionals still shooting in film rather than video (digital) with their 1st annual Kodak Award Show. Honorees were film makers (directors), documentarists, photographers, photojournalists, and music video directors (really, music FILM directors!) We provided Decorative & Stage Lighting, Video, and Sound for this Event at Hudson Loft (DTLA.) My favorite Honoree was Quentin Tarantino!

"And the Grammy goes to....?" You'll have to tell us, 'cuz while the Show was running, we were applying the finishing artistic touches to our all-day transformation of Palm Restaurant (DTLA) for the Concord Music Grammy After-Party! "Analog" was the theme for this Record Company's Tribute to the Grammys! We answered the call by suggesting the museum style display of our Vintage Analog Audio! Open Reel-to-Reel, Cassette, and 8-Track tape players; a 70s era Stereo Receiver & Turntable; and even, a 60s era Transistor Radio & Kid's 45rpm Record Player! Creative Production Design included: Ambient, Decorative, & Production Lighting; Distributed Sound throughout the entire restaurant; Highlighting of Hung Artwork (Framed, Album Cover Inspired Art); "Abstract, Piano Keys Floor Projections" (our Tribute to Concord's Logo, and Grammy Host - Alicia!!); and even, to inspire guests to make the trip to the Upstairs Chill & Arcade Lounge - a Vintage Blinking, Pointed Arrow Sign!!! Way too much fun designing, for someone who loves Vintage Audio - me!!!!😄

Truly, the most elegant Wedding Reception in which we have ever been involved occurred over this past weekend at The Athenaeum (Cal Tech.) Working with Peggy at Timeless Celebrations and many other vendors, we contributed to this Magical Atmosphere by creating and installing the Lighting Design.
