Today we stepped back in time to unveil a moment that shaped the future of college football. In 1902, Michigan defeated Stanford in a 49–0 shutout game at Tournament Park, launching what came to be know as the Rose Bowl Game® 🌹

A special thank you to all who donated, volunteered, and participated in the 2025 Dena Community Backpack Giveaway held at America’s Stadium this past Sunday. Due to the generosity of Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation donors from around the country, we are excited to dedicate the venue’s sixth statue on August 9th in a public ceremony beginning at 10:00 AM.

The statue will celebrate the first-ever, post-season college football game, the 1902 East-West Game, which later was named the 'Rose Bowl Game®.' 🌹
