If we were to finagle a couple dates to hold fun days near our home, is this something in which you might like to participate?

I was thinking maybe November and March. Thoughts?

As we celebrate 50 years of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America, here’s something you might not know…

Jack Russell Terriers rely heavily on their sense of smell. Nose-based games and activities are a great way to engage their natural abilities.

This is what 50 years of preserving a working terrier looks like.

The 1928 Craven hunt gymkhana and working terrier show. The quarry for the race was a stuffed badger drawn by a horse.

The trial is done, and we’ve made it safely to have some fun with our terriers in the field. (They are not allowed to participate in the JRTCA trial we host)

Many thanks to each and every person who stepped up to help us adapt and overcome the mountain of challenges we faced upon arrival to the site!

We made new friends, enjoyed visiting with longtime friends, and had the opportunity to bask in the joy embodied by these dogs!

We are all EXHAUSTED.

Thank you so much for your patience in overcoming obstacles and just plain having fun! I hope you will return next time.

If you have any ideas on sites for a fun day, please send them my way! We’d love to do some tunnels or racing fun days throughout the year.
