10/19: A free panel discussion at FABRIK on making and keeping adult friendships, which is particularly near and dear to us. We have an incredible lineup of speakers, including folks from SoHo CBT + Mindfulness Center , Reading Rhythms , 222 , Single Saturdays NYC , Joust , and StoryTell 🎤

10/19: Our next Boston party at the stunning Rochambeau Boston 🍷

10/20: Our next SF party back at The Eighth Rule at The Westin St. Francis , where the 8th rule of bourbon is connection (we agree!) 🥃🤝

10/21: Our next NYC party at with La Noxe NYC at their Trinity location (which happens to overlook the Trinity Church cemetery… fitting for spooky season! 🪦)

10/23: Our next NYC Q***r Men’s party at Bananas Restaurant in partnership with LGBTQ+ matchmaker Karmen of Pride Matchmaking™ (formerly Karmen Connects) 🌈

10/28: A return to the iconic The Culver Hotel for our next LA party—its historic halls are perfect for a little Halloween mystery 👻

It’s our first full day at the Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival, so I wanted to share a little bit about why I’m particularly excited to be here (outside of just loving love!)

It’s been an honor, privilege, and joy to partner with Mary Timby , matchmaking_lisdoonvarna , and The Hydro Hotel to bring some exciting new things to life this year. As a host, event producer, coach, and someone who spends all day thinking about love offline, it’s been a dream come true to be part of it.

We’re still just getting started on the weekend, but the energy and excitement around the festival have already been incredible. Stay tuned to hear how it goes!

If you’re new here, I’m Elle! I’m a host, event producer, dating coach, wingwoman, and friend. I started Met Through Friends as a joke out of my own NYC apartment to help my great single friends meet each other, and it’s grown beyond my wildest dreams.

They Met Through Friends at TALEA B**r Co. 😘🍻

Everyone here brought a great single friend of the opposite gender for someone else to meet. We can’t guarantee a match, but we CAN guarantee that you’ll be in a gender-balanced room full of single people who were vouched for by someone else. Whether or not you get a date (which people definitely did!) it’s a good time with good people who happen to be single.

MTF started as a series of house parties at Elle Wilson ‘s apartment, so it felt fitting to be in Talea’s cozy snug, which feels just like a chic friend’s living room. Should we do this one again?
