We’re coming off of a wonderful wedding weekend in St. Louis and now that it is June… it feels like summer season is fully here! We love seeing our past couples on the circuit, so seeing K&S as guests this past weekend had us reminiscing about their beautiful Maine wedding. It is wild to believe it has already been a year✨

The most magical summer day. Pouring through ’s sun-soaked gallery never gets old.

In keeping with family tradition, the couple exchanged vows in a charming seaside church before departing in a classic woodie wagon, bound for a celebration on the coast with family and friends.

As we head into summer, we’re reflecting on one of our favorite celebrations from last year.

E&A opted for an al fresco wedding dinner on Friday evening before celebrating in black-tie fashion on Saturday. Set against the backdrop of ’s Yallerhammer, the evening grew more magical with each passing hour as the sun dipped behind the mountains and guests lingered over dinner.

Still not over this rehearsal dinner palette 💜🌼🌿

Our bride’s love of suzani textiles inspired the textile selection, which in turn informed the rest of the design. This fabric fit the bill perfectly for an unexpected western welcome.

wove together fragrant lilacs, pansies, and petunias, while repeating olive-etched hurricanes ran the length of the table and provided a warm glow as the sun began to set. The lilac tulip porcelain from tied everything together beautifully and was an exciting addition to the mix.

A look at Friday night with K&C 🤍

After a stroll down Main Street in Fredericksburg, Katie and Carter joined their families and wedding party at on the ice house lawn for an al fresco rehearsal dinner.

The palette and warmth of this textile gelt right at home in Hill Country, TX and instantly inspired our table design. ran with it beautifully layering shades of lilac, pansies and petunias with repeating olive hurricanes. Katie and Carter’s wedding told a visual and experiential story from start to finish - each event building on the next. We genuinely cannot wait to share more of this couple and the magic of their Hill Country weekend … but for now we open the doors to their supper-club inspired dinner tent.

During the design process, we studied visual through-lines from the couples’ personal aesthetic. The repeating elements in Katie’s pulls: clean and crisp with punctuations of color. A geometric coffered ceiling and tailored banquettes piped in red defined the room while theatrical chocolate velvet drapery and custom relief scrollwork added architectural drama around the stage and bars. One of our favorite features was our faux-finished marble dance floor inspired by the palette and textures of Cy Twombly’s apartment in Rome in shades of rosy, red and chocolate marble.

The tabletop balanced formality with softness through layered block prints, textiles, heirloom silver collections, china, blown glass, and delicate florals by featuring garden roses, tree peonies, and wild strawberries.

While grand in scale, the vibe felt intimate and familiar. After a dinner party set to the jazz club sounds of … the dancefloor absolutely popped off!
