Holiday Magic Comes to Life at Muskogee’s Garden of Lights!
It’s that magical time of year when Honor Heights Park transforms into a breathtaking holiday destination for the 2025 Garden of Lights, illuminating the season from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day. Opening night takes place on Thanksgiving night, marking the official start of this year’s celebration. Now in its 34th year, this cherished Muskogee tradition continues to draw visitors from across the region to experience one of Oklahoma’s most spectacular holiday displays.
Each winter, Honor Heights Park glows with well over one million lights, artfully arranged to highlight the park’s natural beauty including its gardens, lakes, trees, and iconic waterfalls. The displays showcase scenes inspired by the park’s plants, animals, and everyday visitors, creating a magical wonderland that comes alive with color and movement.
Guests are invited to stroll along lighted pathways, take in the reflections shimmering on the lakes, and enjoy warm seasonal treats such as hot chocolate and coffee from the concession stand. For those seeking an especially memorable experience, hayrides offer a festive way to enjoy the display. Hayrides run Wednesday through Sunday, can accommodate up to 35 people, and may be reserved by calling The Papilion at (918) 684-6303.
