Grief is a journey no one ever prepares you for. It comes in waves, some days gentle, other days overwhelming. You may find yourself smiling at a memory one moment and aching deeply the next. That’s the nature of love, it doesn’t just disappear.
Losing someone you love changes you. It reshapes your world, your routines, even your sense of who you are. While the pain may never fully go away, it does begin to soften with time. Not because you forget, but because you learn how to carry their love with you in a new way.
There is no timeline for healing. No “right” way to grieve. Just take it one moment, one breath, one step at a time.
In the middle of the sorrow, there is still hope. Hope in the memories that make you smile. Hope in the strength you didn’t know you had. Hope in the quiet moments where you begin to feel a little more like yourself again.
You are allowed to grieve.
