Here’s a glimpse of what’s coming to The Stage the first weekend of October!

The historic musical melodrama Muskegon The Lumber Queen was first produced at Muskegon High School in 1975. Fifty years later, we are bringing it back to the stage!

“Muskegon The Lumber Queen” is a one-hour family-friendly musical melodrama telling the story of early Muskegon’s lumbering heritage.
It is a living history lesson written and first produced for the Muskegon Children’s Theater, a Muskegon Public Schools project of the Hackley Fund. The economic impact of the logging industry and Muskegon’s early benefactors are presented with historical accuracy and humorous characters, offering students and grown-ups a chance to cheer for a story of their origin.

Performance dates are:

Friday, October 3, 2025 at 7:30 PM
Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 7:30 PM
Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 3:00 PM

This Saturday at The Stage!
The world premiere of a new comedy-fantasy film made entirely in Muskegon County, Wizards of the Range!
Join Dandalf the Lesser, a washed-up wizard, and Long John Breakfast the Third, a rogue apprentice, as they journey through The Range in search of Scrah, a legendary magical moonshine. Part fantasy, part western, and part adult comedy, this local Muskegon film offers a unique and entertaining experience.
Pre-screening reception starts at 8:00 PM, screening begins at 9:00 PM!
*while Wizards of the Range is not rated, it contains violence, drug use, and strong language and is not suitable for children.

June is here and our first event for the month is happening this Friday! Divas On The Corner returns to The Stage on June 6th! Doors open at 6:00 PM and the show begins at 7:00 PM!
