Today the Rae Creates warehouse got to be a little part of a few local students prom memories. Faith and I got to witness so many beautiful young ladies with their gorgeous dresses and some sharp dressed dudes create memories.

We had fun making up a couple cute spaces for them to capture a few photos. Pockets Full of Posies NoDak helped with her amazing creations too. 💐

This is dating me but it was 30 years ago this year that I walked in the MHS grand march.

So much has changed but yet so much has stayed the same.

I designed my own dress. I needed long sleeves to hide my arms, stars because I’ve always been wishing on stars and gold shimmer for a just little sparkle. My grandma and my mom sewed it all up for me while I got to glue on the sequins. Shoes, vintage of course along with the vintage choker and earrings borrowed from my grandma. 👗

My room was full of one of my many collections. 30 years ago and I was even a collector then. Ironically, I still have several of the pieces pictured in my possession today. 😂

My sisters had a dinner for us with all of my favorites. Vintage goblets, brass candlesticks and the color purple 💜

Jesse and I were the emcees of the prom so I got to witness every single attendee of the event. I loved watching all my classmates shine. ✨

It’s funny how much time has passed yet so many of my favorites are the same.

Prom.

Such a fun day.

I have opened my warehouse for the last 5 years for prom couples and guess I’ve never advertised it.

It’s hard to put into words sometimes how thankful I am for the community I am blessed to be part of. ❤️

Over the last 17 or more years I have dabbled in some sort of creative community. Spending time with like minded creative people in different ventures has taught me so much about relationship building, being genuine, treating others how you want to be treated, laughing thru the fun, smiling thru the struggles all while trying to do the best job you can. I am proud of what I do creatively but I am also proud of the friends I have met on this path. Getting to do something you enjoy with people you enjoy is pretty dang great.

Today was one of those days that I am reminded of the journey, it’s about the people you meet along the way.

Thank you to those that attended our bridal show The Wedding Album Vol 2 in a true ND spring blizzard. It was great seeing you.

Thank you to the amazing vendors that brought the spirit and the smiles. We are so grateful for your continued support.
