✨ For the brides doing things a little differently ✨

Not every wedding looks the same, and not every floral budget needs to either.

If you’re a bride working within a smaller budget, planning from out of state, or simply looking for something meaningful without the pressure of full-scale wedding florals, I want you to know this: you still have options here.

I continue to take on custom faux floral commissions, including smaller orders like a bridal bouquet and boutonniere, statement pieces, or keepsake florals. Faux allows for more flexibility, longevity, and creativity, and it travels beautifully. I also offer shipping, so distance doesn’t have to be a barrier to having florals that feel personal and intentional.

One of my recent brides just wrapped her shoot and is waiting on her photos to drop (trust me, I’m waiting too), and it’s a reminder that some of the most meaningful work happens quietly, behind the scenes, and outside the traditional wedding box.

The work didn’t begin this month.

It began at the end of October, and it hasn’t really let up since.

It didn’t start in January.

Behind the blooms, this season looked like this:

Much of what you’re seeing here didn’t start this month; it started back in November and December. Planning, sourcing, building, and refining happened long before the wedding show ever opened its doors.

While preparing for this event, I was also designing and executing multiple weddings across January, completing two full faux collections for October brides, and refining every floral element that would be used as both display and proof of process.

One of my brides was able to pick up all of her florals directly at the bridal show. The arrangements had been used intentionally as display pieces, knowing she’d be attending. It was the perfect overlap of logistics, sustainability, and real-world use: nothing wasted, nothing rushed, everything purposeful.

At the show, interest exceeded expectations! I moved to a second sign-up sheet, couples stopped to photograph the work, and over a hundred business cards went out. I also had the opportunity to speak with iHeartRadio about Proof & Petals and the work behind the brand.

This post isn’t about a single weekend. It’s about months of layered work finally becoming visible.

Proof & Petals has always been rooted in the behind-the-scenes: the planning, the pacing, the problem-solving, and the care that doesn’t photograph easily but makes all the difference.

These are the fresh floral arrangements I’ll have available this Valentine’s season: offered in very limited quantities. Some of these blooms will also be pulled apart and re-crafted into larger statement arrangements, so availability will be intentionally small.

In addition to fresh florals, I’ll also be offering everlasting faux floral mini bouquets, each one thoughtfully crafted and completely unique. No two are the same, and they’re designed to be kept and enjoyed long after Valentine’s Day.
