🎄Christmas in July Update🎄

Due to the forecasted weather, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone our Christmas in July celebration originally scheduled for Friday, July 18, 2025.

We’re just as disappointed as you are—we were so excited for a festive night of fun, but the safety and comfort of our community always comes first. 🎅🌧️

Stay tuned—we’ll be announcing a new date soon so we can still celebrate together with free swim, pizza, ice cream, music, and a visit from Santa (yes, he’s still coming!).

Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you soon! ❤️💚

🎉 Slide Back Saturday: A Juneteenth Celebration to Remember! ❤️💛💚

We’re still reflecting on the joy, unity, and powerful history shared during our Juneteenth Celebration at the Middleburg Community Center. 🌟

With the dedicated leadership of Chief Shaun, Mayor Bridge Littleton, and Porcha Dodson, this meaningful event came to life — a celebration of freedom, resilience, and community.

🌟 Soul stirring gospel by the Mount Olive Baptist Church Women’s Choir
🌟 Moving liturgical dance from Oak Grove Baptist Church
🌟 Uplifting beats from DJ Half Pint
🌟 Mouthwatering bites by Chef Pete of The Chef Feature Co.
🌟 Free pizza, free swim, and Slater Run Vineyards concessions to keep the summer spirit alive!

A special moment of the day honored the legacy of four courageous Middleburg men who led a 1961 sit-in during President Kennedy’s visit. This was a bold action that made Middleburg the first town in Virginia to desegregate. Their bravery continues to inspire generations.

Thank you to all who joined us. Let’s continue to celebrate freedom, history, and each other. 🙌🏽

A nonprofit Community Center Serving Middleburg for 7 decades

Did you know ....

In May 18, 1946 a group of civic minded citizens came together to make Mrs. Howell E. Jackson’s dream of making Middleburg the social hub of Loudoun County and Fauquier County come to fruition.

With the help of the generous citizens of Middleburg, The Middleburg Community Center opened in January 1948. With a grand ball room, bowling alley and swimming pool as the main attractions the Middleburg Community Center hosted nearly 500 events including picnics, balls, bowling, swimming, movies, and tractor shows during its first full year of operation.

With more than two million people participating in the events over the years The Middleburg Community Center remains the community supported social hub it was intended to be, hosting a myriad of special private events, educational classes, meetings, fundraisers and community events.
