What Really Matters……. I started my day with a message from a young man that we were kind to over 20 years ago. He wanted to thank me for the way he was treated during a difficult time in his life. It made me think of what Pisa Pizza really has been over the past 34 years. When I say Pisa Pizza I include the awesome staff that participated in making a difference. Feeding struggling families, helping young drug addicts with food and treatment costs, watching out for elderly neighbors, supporting grieving families, supplying food for homeless and first responders…… I remember a local coach telling us that rival teams had banquet type meals before their games and that was out of reach for his kids. Pisa supplying pizzas and calzones was like a banquet to them. I don’t post this as a way of boasting….. reflecting on the past 3 decades this impact on the community while successfully growing the pizzeria has been a balance that I could never have imagined in 1993. Watching my staff do stop and shop runs for elderly neighbors in need, go to hospital and nursing home visits, and even funerals is the part of having employees that makes me most proud. Just being kind goes a long way!!!!

Ok Ok so everyone is asking us about Dave Portnoy coming by Pisa Pizza….. Dave has earned the respect because he’s a local guy that has hit it out of the park. He’s been ultra successful, charitable, and in a cancel culture world….. he stays true to who he is. We are greatful to our customers that reached out and asked for him to visit. He picked up mid afternoon on a Tuesday and gave us a good score. What seems to have upset our customers that are contacting me is the fact that he was agitated that day. Having had novicane on both sides of his mouth, dental procedures and a numb tounge he was definitely not himself. Probably not a good time to do a pizza review 😂😂😂. So in all fairness we give Dave’s lifetime work a 9.8 and his decision to do a review in his condition a 2.3…… Seriously though, Pisa Pizza and our crew are extremely proud to be serving Malden for the past 34 years and will continue pushing out amazing pizzas. On a side note Dave I’m in need of an implant. Do you give reviews for dentists in the area????

Pisa Pizza is open regular hours today. We will be closed on Sat July 4th and Sunday July 5th to give the weekend crew a chance to celebrate the 250th anniversary with their family and friends.

Congrats to Glen, George, and Teri on retirement from Malden PD. All 3 have become good friends over the past 34 years since we opened the doors to Pisa Pizza on Highland Ave. The years have gone by in the blink of an eye. You will all be missed by the people of Malden. Best of health in your new reality my friends!!!

As a 23 year old kid opening Pisa Pizza on Highland Ave in Malden, there were a few people that embraced and looked after me like I was family. One of the kindest people I have ever met. Dom Fermano has been there for me since 1993. Thoughts and prayers to Sheila, his family, and friends

We are open today!!! A bit short staffed so we suggest online ordering ( and receive twice the loyalty points) and pick up. Deliveries may be slow but we will let you know when you call
