WE’RE HONORED TO BE PART OF THE JUBILATION!

Last night’s private reception for Jubilation! Ambassadors on a Sacred Journey was incredible! What a beautiful evening celebrating the opening of this powerful traveling exhibition honoring the legacy and history of the Fisk Jubilee Singers.

Splendid Events, LLC was honored to serve as Event Managers for Opening Weekend, and we are thrilled to help bring this special experience to the community.

🎶 Jubilation! officially opens to the public TODAY — Friday, September 18!

The exhibition will be on display at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage (KCAAH) through Sunday, February 28, 2027.

40 Years of Legacy, Sisterhood & Service!

We at Splendid Events, LLC are incredibly proud to be members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated Pi Lambda Omega Chapter and honored to have helped bring this beautiful 40th Anniversary Gala vision to life!

What a special evening celebrating 40 years of sisterhood, service, history, and legacy. It was truly a collective effort, and we are grateful to have been a part of such a meaningful milestone celebration.

A HUGE shoutout to our sorority sister, Traci Fuqua of Lovelight Events LLC, who traveled from Indianapolis to help make the evening even more spectacular! Her beautiful florals and décor transformed the space and created an absolutely stunning atmosphere for our celebration.

And special thanks to our amazing sorority sister and Emcee, Caray Grace, WLKY, for keeping the evening flowing with such warmth and energy; KMF Band (Keyvoko) for providing the incredible music that kept the celebration going all night long; and photographer B Dee Johnson for Kapturing the Visual Narrative and preserving the beautiful moments and memories of this milestone evening.

We are grateful for our President Sonia Suggs, every sister, committee member, partner, and vendor who helped bring this vision to life. When sisterhood, creativity, expertise, and teamwork come together, the results are simply SPLENDID!

Day 2 of the WBEC ORV Catch the Wave Conference!

We were honored to participate in the WBE Showcase and celebrate an inspiring community of women-owned businesses.

The day concluded with the fabulous Trailblazer Dinner at the Kentucky Derby Museum, where WBE businesses, Trailblazer Award recipients, and corporate partners were recognized for their contributions and commitment to advancing opportunities for women-owned businesses and diverse suppliers.

Kudos to the WBE ORV team and the Distinct Event Planning Team for an outstanding conference filled with connection, collaboration, and inspiration. We’re proud to be part of this incredible community, proud to be a part of the Host Committee, and grateful for the opportunity to Catch the Wave!

WBEC ORV CATCH THE WAVE Conference!

What an incredible evening! Splendid Events, LLC, a WBENC-certified WBE, was honored to be part of the Louisville Host Committee and coordinate the Catch the Wave Opening Reception!
