It took a pandemic, closures gentrification for the city of LA to recognize Fais Do-Do, they sure new how to find us when licenses fees permits were due.... this years black history month live celebrations are on hold till orders of mandatory club closures are lifted, expect a grand Fais Do-Do festival to celebrate our reopening and the culmination of 30 years of bringing people together to break bread move to the rhythms of world music jazz blues hip hop and soulful sounds when Fais Do-Do will shutter for good... make peace have a ball.... see you when this pandemic subsides

Painting the Fais Do-Do red white and blue, we are Bernie’s speakeasy, a mid-city rallying cry for the revolution! We will host fundraisers gather to support progressive policies to take our country back from runaway capitalism and income inequality. Healthcare is a human right. We need policies to protect the environment a women’s choice, and a full slate of social justice causes. End citizen’s United get money out of politics and foster a loving inclusive economy and society!
