It was a great day for some vintage 1886 base ball as the Bluegrass Barons visited our friends the White River Base Ball Club in Noblesville, Indiana, on Saturday! Overhand pitching, called balls and strikes, and leather gloves make it a fun game that we look forward to every year. And there were only a few pre-game sprinkles as we played a whole nine-inning game without getting wet! Both teams struck well and made fine plays in the field, and the Boys of the Bluegrass struck well to come back to Lexington with a win.

We always enjoy playing our friends from White River and thank them for a great afternoon of spirited competition. Thank you to everybody who came out to watch, especially our friends and family who made the trip from Lexington!
