Historic Shelby Manor at Arcadia Farm is nestled in the green hills of Lincoln County and was built in 1836 by the first governor of Kentucky, Isaac Shelby. This elegant four story mansion is situated on 625 acres of lush private farmland providing a distinctive setting to any special occasion including weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, musical or fundraising events, a milestone anniversary, or a company picnic.

With the historic charm of Shelby Manor and the beautiful Kentucky countryside surrounding it, there are so many gorgeous spots around the property for engagement photos, wedding portraits, and everything in between.

One of the things we love most about Historic Arcadia Farm is how many different ways people can enjoy the property. You can get married here, spend a weekend at the Manor, gather for a special event, or simply come enjoy a little time in the Kentucky countryside.

There’s a lot to love about a wedding at Historic Arcadia Farm, and we’d love to show you around.

Located in Stanford, Kentucky, our historic wedding venue offers so many beautiful ways to celebrate. You can spend the morning getting ready inside Historic Shelby Manor, exchange vows surrounded by the Kentucky countryside, take portraits throughout the property, and celebrate with dinner and dancing in our climate-controlled Pavilion.

For couples who love an outdoor celebration, the grounds also offer beautiful spaces for tented weddings, giving you the flexibility to create a setting that feels like your own.

One of our favorite things about hosting weddings here is seeing how couples use the property throughout their entire wedding weekend. With overnight accommodations, multiple ceremony and reception options, and an experienced team that can help with everything from coordination to catering and florals, so much of your celebration can happen right here.

It is a charcuterie/cocktail party style dinner out under the majestic trees of Historic Shelby Manor. The chefs are preparing an array of hearty small bites, filling sliders with garden inspired sauces, gourmet cheeses, delicious pasta cups, and other items including a signature drink perfect for a fall soiree on the lawn.

It’s always fun to see how differently each couple makes Arcadia feel once their own style starts coming together. That’s one of the things we love most about this venue. The character is already here, but there’s still so much room to make the spaces your own. 🩷
