Absolutely loved listening to the author reading of A House of Perfect Safety - it was an honor to host her book launch with Dancing Star Press 📖

Also it was the perfect opportunity to enjoy some apple blossom + green tea 🍎

Looking forward to de-stressing with mahjong tonight, Happy Hump Day Y’all!

Big thank you to Sabrina A Woodward from Fun with Sticks & Strings for taking this photo for us! :)

A great group for Tai Chi this morning in front of the teahouse - such a wonderful way to start the day! 😊

There’s a Purple Tea Tasting tomorrow at 1pm (which includes lots of fun purple treats too!) and Tai Chi will be back every Saturday morning at 10am 🌺

Teas on Tap:
Purple Jasmine
Apple Blossom Green
Turmeric Ginger (best with a bit of honey)

The Post Oak Parents’ Mandarin class was super fun last night and now of course the song 我的姑娘在哪里 is stuck in my head 🤣

We’ve got performing tonight - the perfect way to start off your weekend 🎶

Isn’t it just the most perfect sunny autumnal afternoon? Join us for chill vibes and conversation (maybe even a mahjong game?) this afternoon ☕️

❤️ ❤️ ☕️

Teahouse is closed tonight due to a private event - but we will be open to the public again tomorrow!

No Tai Chi this weekend - that will start up next Saturday 🧘‍♀️

Mahjong: kids tested, parent approved!

(plz don’t actually eat the mahjong tiles)

Also we’ve got Spicy Sichuan Chai on tap tonight - the perfect way to combat this grim rainy weather 🌶️☕️😋

Happy Mooncake Day!

What a wonderful day for going out and about and enjoying Lansing’s Downtown Day!

Chilled hibiscus tea is a fantastic way to stay hydrated in these insanely hot temps - you can add rosebuds for some natural sweetness or fresh lime juice for a citrus kick 🌺

Stay safe and stay cool Lansing!
