Good morning, friends! We are now in September--where has the summer gone?! Many of you have asked about dance instruction at the Ball, and we are pleased to announce that not only will our excellent caller Julie Esch instruct steps during the Ball for each dance, but we will also be hosting an optional dance lesson at 1p.m. the afternoon of the Ball for any ticketholders who want to brush up on their skills beforehand! We anticipate the lesson will last about an hour and a half, so you will have plenty of time to relax and get ready before the evening's festivities. Also, while period dress or a reasonable attempt is requested for the Ball itself, the dance lesson will not have a dress code so "normal" clothes are completely fine! Just come ready to listen and learn. We can't wait to see you there!
