Belonging sounds simple - until you consider how many women enter professional, social, or community spaces wondering whether there is a place for them there.
Alissa Calhoun, of A.Calhoun Events, and Ariana Chanel, of The Socials Fairy created๐ซ She Belongs Here to address a need they saw in their community. Too often, women, particularly women of color, struggle to feel confident in unfamiliar spaces. Their first ๐ซ ๐บ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐ event in June was an intentional gathering where women could arrive as themselves, connect honestly, and know they were not alone.
๐ซ ๐บ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐ reminds women that belonging is not something they must earn - and Ariana and Alissa underscored the message that making room for another woman never makes the room smaller.
โจ Building on the success of their debut event, Ariana and Alissa are hosting
