In early 2011, a group of artisans and friends merged their love of
the arts and the community into an aggressive plan to host events
showcasing local talent across a broad spectrum of expression. Primarily through music,
but tapping into visual arts, dance, poetry and more, Mosaic is a
community which operates on a human economy. In this economy, artists
of various disciplines come together to en

rich one another and the
vibrant and exploding arts scene in the city of Lancaster. Artistic beauty flourishes in diverse communities, growing out of a
myriad of life experiences and journeys. Individuals may find
themselves at many different points of artistic capability, awareness
and appreciation. At each event a mosaic of these individuals
represents the beauty of pieces fitted carefully together to promote
