Mississippi artist Claire Whitehurst is a painter, sculptor, and printmaker. Her work is heavily influenced by her southern roots and the impact the landscape has had on her upbringing. She has exhibited internationally and her work has been featured in various publications, as well as in a book of her work and poetry titled Mirror Drawings. She currently lives and works in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
