Long Range Bay Privacy Fence - Phase 2 is complete!
Extended it way back past the 100 yard line and way forward to the pre-berm made back behind the Bay 6 berm.
In the coming year we'll build a little more fence and a lot more dirt-filled tires to mitigate the possibility of a stray bullet doing damage.
Appreciate y'all's patience as we steadily take steps towards making the range safer.

Got construction on the privacy fence in the Long Range Bay likely going on all week.
When the work crew goes to lunch from Noon-130pm they don't mind you shooting there, but please set up your targets FAR to the LEFT of their workspace and equipment.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! Dec. 7 we have some bays reserved:
—Bays 4 and 5 will again be reserved by Gateway Defense for their Pistol Mastery class from 730-530.
—Bay 6 will be reserved for a birthday party ftom Noon-4. One of our members is celebrating his birthday here with other members and their guests. We're honored to be chosen.
All other bays will be available for other members to use at gheir leisure.

This Saturday! Got 3 classes / 4 bays confirmed reserved, so members please pay attention.
-Bays 4&5, Gateway Defense will be doing Pistol Mastery from 730-530.
-Bay 8, Citizen Defense will be doing Red Dot Fundamentals from 830-530.
-Bay 1, Hoffner's Training Academy will be running a private rifle class from 830-400.
Other bays should be free depending on the usual first come, first serve basis.

ATTENTION: we have a very unique class (Pistol Mastery) for USPSA competitors scheduled Dec. 6 and 7 with .
Brennan Brennecke is a Grandmaster and is running a class specifically for USPSA Level B and above, all focused on getting good shooters much better.
(See his description in the reel he just posted).
BUT he just had enough spots open up that we need some extra shooters to do the class.
He's even running a Black Friday sale if you want to take advantage of it.

Was a pleasure to host Brian Hoffner's ( ) Tactical Shotgun Operators Course last Saturday.

For those of y'all who haven't swung by the range lately, just a heads up about a big change at the IZGC!
There a new rolling gate installed just before Bay 3.
It'll always be unlocked, so if you enter the main range area you just need to roll it open then roll it closed behind you.
All humans may enter and exit!
The gate is only for the cows and horses.
The cows and horses pretty much forced my hand on this one.
Besides all the clean up, they've been doing thousands of dollars of damage to the berms just in the few months since the berms were upgraded.
It's unsustainable to bleed that kind of money, so the party's over for them.
But for you guys, the party is very much still on!
It's a simple extra step, so I appreciate y'all's understanding and cooperation.

Heads up: expect Bays 4 and 5 to be occupied this Saturday morning (Nov. 15) from 9-Noon.Like some of the training offer...

Was an absolute pleasure to again host Hoffners Training Academy ( ) last weekend, this time for their Tactical Rifle Operator course.
Nice sized crowd of eager students and a professionally run firing line.
They'll be hosting a shotgun course this Saturday in case anyone wants to sign up and get in on all this during the fall.
If you missed these courses but want this kind of training, Brian Hoffner will be back next spring.
Hope to see y'all out here pulling triggers soon!
