Another mystery package! 🕵️‍♂️📦

Last night this G.I. Joe Classified Series Cobra Arctic B.A.T. arrived at my house from BigBadToyStore ... but with no indication of who sent it. Since it came to my home rather than the museum, I’m left wondering: museum donation, early birthday present, or something else? 😂

These anonymous packages are turning me into quite the toy detective!

Whoever sent it, please know it is sincerely appreciated. It’s incredible seeing so many people wanting to contribute to The Best Little Toy Museum In Texas and help the collection continue to grow.

To my mystery sender ... THANK YOU! ❤️🤍💙

Another surprise package arrived at the museum! This time, an anonymous donor sent us this fantastic McFarlane Toys King Kong figure, released in 2000 as part of the Movie Maniacs line.

From his 1933 film debut to becoming one of the most recognizable characters in movie history, Kong has remained a pop-culture icon for more than 90 years.

To our mystery donor: THANK YOU! Your generosity helps us continue preserving and sharing the history of toys, movies, and pop culture at The Best Little Toy Museum In Texas! 🦍🎬❤️

Donor Spotlight: Brandon T. Vallair

Sometimes toys do more than bring back memories—they forge lasting friendships. Brandon first visited the museum with his wife for his birthday shortly after we opened, and we quickly became friends through our shared love of collecting.

Since then, Brandon has generously donated numerous pieces to the museum, we’ve hit a few comic cons together, and there have been plenty of conversations about Transformers, Boba Fett, and toys in general.

Outside of collecting, Brandon is a dedicated runner, coach, and founder of RunForSpeed.com. Thank you, Brandon, for your friendship, generosity, and continued support of The Best Little Toy Museum In Texas!

Sometimes the best part of sharing toys is seeing the joy they bring to someone else.

I received this wonderful thank-you note and hand-drawn Porg from Anastella Garcia after giving her a Chewbacca and Porg toy set. Her artwork was too special not to share!

Thank you, Anastella, for the awesome drawing and for reminding us what the love of toys is all about!

Today’s Donor Spotlight is another anonymous donation that arrived in the mail ... this time shipped from San Antonio!

Inside was a Scorpion King figure from 2001’s The Mummy Returns, featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Mathayus. It’s a great piece of movie and toy history and will fit perfectly into our growing Mummy display.

To whoever sent this unexpected gift, thank you for thinking of The Best Little Toy Museum In Texas and helping us continue telling the history of movies and television through toys!
