✨ A new event for Thurmont Main Street is coming Friday, November 6 from 5-8p.
🎉 Come Celebrate Diwali with us!

💫 Don’t know what Diwali is? It is a Hindu tradition also known as festival of lights and celebrates the spiritual triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, eating sweets,& sharing gifts with friends & family.
✨ All our participating businesses will have lights in their windows, on their buildings, or candles in the windows to celebrate light.

👩‍🍳 10Tavern will have Frederick Chef Vividha Yadav preparing authentic Indian dishes. Thurmont Kountry Kitchen for those sweets & desserts too.

✨ There will be a henna tattoo artist, a Diwali children’s performance, crafts for children, and step into each Main Street Business to checkout their lights and gifts. There will also be a yoga and meditation session at the Main Street Yoga Studio, Somatic Pathways.
