If you are from RCI or CCI, I hope you can get your marriage license before the end of the year. I heard a rumor that Gary A. Fleshman, Chillicothe Ohio Bankruptcy Attorney is retiring.🫢

North Central Correctional said they are booked for the remainder of the year.

Roll call! The yard is filling up fast! My calendar is nearing lockdown! 🔒Between now and October 31st, I have 11 services booked and serving time on my schedule. 5 new brides from various facilities have already initiated contact—and 3 have officially put down their deposits to lock in their spot on the cell block with me! Slots are tighter than maximum security right now! There’s still a very small window to sneak your date onto the docket.

📞 Call me today for a completely NO-OBLIGATION consultation. Let’s secure your date and get you officially locked in before the gates close for the season!

Anyone who knows me knows that I think it is fundamentally disrespectful to wear athletic shoes to a wedding. I am a buckled Mary Janes kind of officiant through and through! But when you're officiating prison weddings, reality hits hard. The official dress code genuinely suggests "tennis shoes." So, I finally caved and bought a pair of Skechers Slip-ins. And honestly? Total game changer for prison security roulette:

Scenario A: The facility lets me walk through the metal detector. Google promised me these have zero metal in them. Cue the smooth, beep-free, dramatic walk-through.

Scenario B: They make everyone take their shoes off anyway (gross). But the absolute worst part of Scenario B? There is never anywhere to sit down to put them back on. You’re just awkwardly flamingo-balancing on one foot on a questionable prison floor trying to fasten a buckle. 🦩Well, no more balancing acts for me! Now I can step right back into them without bending over, touching the floor, or losing my dignity. My style icon heart is hurting, but my efficiency levels are at an all-time high. 10/10 recommendation for anyone else working the visitor lines!

The questions I get daily are wild. Today’s highlight: "My boo is locked up; how much to marry us?" Can anyone see the issue here? We just can't start with price.
We need to answer some foundational questions first:
🔹 Step 1: Where are they locked up?
🔹 Step 2: Have you been approved by the institution to get married?

Let's start there! Please have mercy on my soul!

The Legalities: Most locations require an attorney to facilitate this (minimum $300).

Tip: You can ask the facility if they offer a special duty officer to help you obtain the marriage license in lieu of an attorney.

The License: On average, a marriage license runs about $65. You can call the county probate court where the facility is located (in most cases) to see how much it is.

My Service: Averages $300 (depending on the location). You can go to Maps, put in the facility address and my zip code (43119) for a general idea of miles.

NO CEREMONY? 💡 Answering a great question that came up recently: Someone asked if it's possible to get married without a ceremony. The answer is yes! If you just want the legal paperwork handled without a ceremony, that is absolutely an option. It's called a Sign & File. There is less Q&A up front. I still must work with you, the facility, travel, and go through their process.

We must strictly follow all legal minimums to make the marriage official. Because this type of service requires the same travel, time, and legal processing, the fee remains the same.

If you are ready to move forward with a signature-only service or a ceremony, let's get you on the books; a simple nonrefundable down payment will get you on your way.

📌 A quick reminder for everyone reaching out with questions:
I do my best to be a resource, answering questions publicly on my page as they come up so we don’t have to reinvent Prison Weddings each time.

Before sending a message, please check my past posts—many of your questions can already be found right here on my page!

When it comes to the specifics, please keep in mind that every facility is different. They don't always follow their own guides, so there is rarely a single, one-size-fits-all answer.

Because navigating these unique differences takes significant time and tailored expertise, hiring me officially is always your best bet.

Investing in my support in helping you find an attorney, what to wear, rings, and much more doesn't just help you and me—it also allows me to keep updating my resources to help future couples, too.

Thank you all so much for respecting my boundaries and supporting my business. If you are serious about working together, let's get you on the books; a simple nonrefundable down payment will get you on your way.

A few owe me money for services I have already provided in the trust that I would be paid. Please look into sending payment.
