A design worth remembering🌼

We had the pleasure of bringing a modern garden party to life at NC Wedding + Event Venue | The Skyroom for their Summer Showcase! Layered cream silk linens, matching rattan chargers and chairs, patterned china, and gorgeous florals from Wild Flora | North Carolina Wedding Florist all popped on the Skyroom’s lush outdoor space🤍

A little pop-in from Jen 🤍 The face behind Southern Skies Events + The Skyroom Wedding & Event Venue!

I’ve been lucky enough to spend the last 10+ years planning and producing hundreds of weddings and events, and I truly can’t imagine doing anything else! My love for this industry inspired me to open the doors to Raleigh’s only modern editorial wedding venue (just over a year ago!), and watching that dream come to life has been such an incredible journey.

My favorite part of it all is getting to celebrate alongside my couples and help bring their vision to life. The relationships we build truly makes this job all the more rewarding. 2026 has been so full of love and celebrations—we can’t wait to welcome our 2027 + 2028 couples!

One of our favorite parts of a traditional Indian wedding day is watching the bridal look come together.

From the garments to the jewelry and final touches, getting dressed is often a shared experience with close family and loved ones, making it one of the most meaningful moments before the celebrations begin.
