The Year was 2016, I quit my job to become a full time Etsy seller. It was the height of so many things. Buffalo Check was having a major moment. So was . Josh deployed and I threw myself in helping plan so many pretty parties. My best friend got married. Do you remember how viral that dress was?! I sold so many things and was so excited for the opportunity to work from home before that was really a thing. I remember that year because it felt really exciting. Our Oklahoma life was slowly coming to an end, we knew after the deployment we would begin figuring out where we would move next. Our friends were starting to move away one by one, and by the end of 2017, we were the only ones left. And of course! Josh came home and we ended the year announcing that baby Hare would be a boy! The start of Leo 🥹
Feels like a lifetime ago, but I am really nostalgic for that moment in time. I miss so many things about it. It was a good year, but if 2026 is the new 2016, then I am very excited for this year 🫶 Except we can do without the deployment, let’s keep Josh at home this time 🫡
