Sebastião Salgado has passed away. He was one of the most powerful photojournalists of our time, known for documenting the pain of war and the struggles of the poor with extraordinary depth and humanity. I followed his career closely and deeply admired his work. The Salt of the Earth, a remarkable film about Salgado’s life and vision, is something I truly recommend watching. His legacy will continue to inspire generations of photographers and storytellers.

I can't walk through any city without taking in the landscape, finding inspiration in the beauty around me. Washington, D.C. is no exception, it’s a city I’ve adopted as my own, a place I’ve called home for the past 23 years.
