I won’t be opening up the shed for regular pickups until we move to our new location, but I still have some gorgeous heirloom mums in bloom and a few extra flowers left over from an event order. So, I’m offering a few super lush $35 bouquets for pickup!

Celebrating the End of Flower Season at For Garden Sake 🌻🎃
This Sunday, we hosted a wonderful course at For Garden Sake to celebrate fall and the close of flower season. All year long, my children and I dry flowers, and during the class, participants learned the basics of creating a dried flower pumpkin — a beautiful way to preserve the blooms of the season.
These unique arrangements make stunning holiday centerpieces or thoughtful gifts, and each one lasts 2–4 months (or even longer!).
We’ll have plenty more available in the Flower Shed in about two weeks, once it moves to its new home on Herndon Road. Stop by and bring a little piece of autumn beauty home with you! 🍂✨

This bridal was such a joy to design, and these photos from are absolutely stunning. The light in the chapel is pure magic, and the outdoor space is just as beautiful. killed it, as always — if you’re looking for a talented photographer, definitely check her out! 🌿 remains my favorite nursery ever, and is now an incredible event space. Designing the florals for this whimsical fall wedding was a joy. was such a joy to get to know and get to work with. Planting specific dahlias and mums for this wedding was so fun and then harvesting them was even better knowing I was getting to also design with them. When our dahlia field flooded, immediately offered to come help w**d and replant. Her gracious help paid off for this beautiful wedding.

Although I don’t often do weddings — and I don’t resonate with being a florist (I’m much more of a farmer gal) — it was an absolute pleasure creating all the florals for beautiful day. 🌸✨ The whole setting felt so whimsical, and the timing couldn’t have been better with dahlias and zinnias in full bloom.

These are the last local fresh flowers for the flower shed of the season. We will be closing down the shed for a couple of weeks to get it ready to move over to our new location on Herndon Road. We’ve got it fully stocked today and we’d love for you to come by and have a sell out Sunday. The south Durham community has been amazing and we’ve loved meeting and talking to each one of you. Thanks for a wonderful local flower season!

This is our final weekend of fresh locally grown flowers in our south Durham flower shed. The weather has cooled down and the flower field is sleepy. We also just moved to a new property and have a ton of work to prep the fields for next year. Come by and give us one last hurrah at our Kestrel Drive location before we move the flower shed over to our new location on Herndon Road.
