Just one of the many deliveries to head out the door today! More local blooms are coming through the door tomorrow. Open 10-5 tomorrow through Friday and Saturday 11-4. New plants, hats, art supplies and candles are on the shelves.

We've been very quiet on here but we are back! We all needed a serious recharge after a very busy spring and early summer season. Staying off the socials was a necessary decision, it can be so draining! Definitely part of the much-needed break.
We've been having lots of meetings with new clients and our daily orders and deliveries are humming along again. Call or order online because the summer flowers are so good!
I'll be heading to Maine in a few weeks but the shop will be open and running. It's been so hot this summer, and the rain and flooding have been so much to deal with for so many.
Take some time to be with loved ones and good friends and smell the flowers.

Hey! Last week one of our staff members was minding their own business and eating lunch when this little guy landed on her head. Another staff member took the bird home while we put the word out to see if anyone was missing him. Unfortunately, no one has come forward and she decided to take him to the bird vet to have him checked out. It turns out he has a tumor! It needs to be removed, but this is a large, unexpected expense. She has set up a GoFundMe so that we can help him. He has really come out of his shell and has a few songs in his repertoire along with some cute tricks. He plays peek-a-boo and says P.U. when anyone shows him toilet paper. How can you resist that?😅🤗🦜🐦

Summer has arrived and it's hot!

We had 4 beautiful weddings this past weekend, and this week we are off! Shop is open, flowers are plentiful but no big events. Just lots of proposal writing, planning and shop rearranging. Our last weddings of the spring season are in 2 weeks and then it's officially summer for Bowerbird!

This look from last fall shows you how you can play with green and white. More textural, unusual blooms and playing with height all made this look classic with a twist! This celebration was in November so the colors of the natural landscape only added to the look. Mother Nature always plays well when you design with the seasons.

I am trying to take a breath as we prepare to finish out our spring season over the next 3 weeks. I'm pausing to remember to take in the beauty around us. Even as the world continues to feel so shaky and uncertain. It can all feel so overwhelming.

Let's all breathe today. 🙂
