Bowerbird Flowers connects people with the beauty of the natural world, during life's most noted mom Bowerbird was nested in my mind long before it took flight.

Using thoughtfully-sourced natural elements, Bowerbird Flowers are crafted in such a way to surprise and inspire you, but most importantly, bring a feeling of joy to your most celebrated moments. I come from an extensive design background, but it wasn't until the past few years that the "flower" seed was planted. I was overcome by the beautiful, floral-based blogs out there, and thought, this migh

t be that spark I've been waiting for. In March 2014, I headed to Brooklyn to learn from the greats at Saipua, and from there, I spread my wings. Closing out the year and beginning anew is always a time of reflection for me. I am still integrating and thinking on all of this. There is much to process! What a year we have all had.

I'll share some thoughts later. Just popping on to say Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Well, we are giving you an early gift! As we move into the busiest week of the year we are having a sale!
We love our community and we know it's tough for people this year. We have had so many customers come in specifically shopping local small businesses and I have been so touched when they have shared this with us.
Our sale is 20% off everything in the shop excluding flowers, plants and dried herbs. It's our way of thanking you!
Please know we are beyond grateful for your support! I know every small business in Durham is thankful for every dollar you spend in our shops. You really are making a difference right here in your community to so many folks!

More serene images from our fall season. I love how the color of the fall foliage at plays with the florals. It's fun to watch a place you are so familiar with changes throughout the seasons and the years. I remember when those hydrangea were so new! Ally wanted a vintage feel to her flowers and it went so well with the light the photography of !

I have been day dreaming about this beautiful installation conceived and brought to life by my daughter who worked with me for many years after college. It was the January before the world shut down. May this warm yellow bring some warmth and light to your day tomorrow as we approach the shortest day of the year.

If a bouquet could capture a feeling, this one might be it. I was so inspired by our bride and the season and slowly climbing out of the fog of grief and sadness. It's colorful but still soft with a vintage look about it. It looks hopeful and happy to me! The love in a puff vine was the finishing touch. And don't get me started on A! She was glowing!
