Hurting People hurt people.
Yesterday my son V who is an amazing writer shared his short story about the Kraken who was mighty and misunderstood. Their heart was lonely, could not receive love so it cried out in anger which caused damage to the communities around it for centuries. The only way the communities could respond was to inflict pain back. Until the famous Captain Clark came along to “see and hear” the heart cry of the Kraken which he solved by connecting him to nature/trees/life/light/resources. Then there was peace that had been elusive for those hundreds of years.
All from a 2 page story written by an 11 year dude that loves to lie. But thanks to wisdom shared a few years back In a leadership training, that shadow side in our kids means there’s an amazing story teller and social leader who doesn’t want to hurt other peoples feelings in immature form.
I love my kids. They are truly part of my top agape love sphere forever. Such an honor.
I am in a season of courage which is unpracticed confidence. I cannot wait to enter into the season of confidence but for those that give me grace and space to practice while having some fear of rejection that I am working out of the equation of me. Thank you! It means the world to be accepted in the midst of my journey. As a friend recently said to me, you are as subtle as a sledge hammer! I don't have to be perfect after all! I look forward to upleveling that part of my communication tools!
I am honored to be walking from hurting people hurt people to the passage of healed people heal people. Thanks for all those that have allowed me to be messy in this journey. Have an awesome Thursday.
