The Phoenix Event Center loves bringing people together and creating a space that’s flexible and affordable for the important events in your life. The Phoenix Event Center is located in the Phoenix Crossing Shopping Center in Durham, North Carolina at the corner of Fayetteville Street and Lakewood Avenue just two blocks off NC Hwy 147.
The center is the ideal venue for the special occasions in your life. Whether you’re planning a small informal gathering or a more structured event, we offer approximately 2500 square feet of space that can accommodate a range of events -- meetings, community events, training classes, fitness classes, dinners, banquets, weddings, photo shoots, concerts, plays, receptions, reunions, parties, pop up shops, vendor events, fashion shows and more. What’s more our open vendor policy allows you to use your own caterer, bartender, decorator, entertainment and other contractors to create the unique experience you desire.
Our in-town location, two blocks off NC Highway 147, is just minutes from I-40 and I-85. Public transportation serves our location with three bus lines within blocks of our location. We have plenty of parking and we’re handicapped-accessible at ground level.
Our goal is to ensure that you have a successful and enjoyable event at our venue. We provide the following amenities in our basic rental package at no extra charge: Ten (10) 60” round tables, three (3) 6’ rectangular tables, one hundred (100) chairs and an open vendor policy for your caterers, bartenders, decorators and entertainment.
