So, here's the deal...the plan was to make some adjustments to the RAT 1000 route this year. Unfortunately my current health issues have prevented me from verifying the planned changes.

There is a slight possiblity I will have an opportunity to verify the changes prior to Group Depart weekend but some stars would need to align for that to happen. If I'm not able to verify the changes we will fall back on last year's route BUT riders will likely need to self navigate around NETT closures between Texarkana and Paris.

Awards are being assembled. Categories have been shuffled once based on registrations. Possibly time for one more shuffle if we fill up some categories in the next week or so. We have to order and assemble awards in advance so there won't be any last minute category shuffles. Get in early if you want to guarantee a spot.

Fort Smith, Arkansas to Denison, Texas following as much of the Butterfield Overland route as possible. Probably going to do this as a motorcycle trip if we get a break in the heat during September.

Route was solid in early 2024. Need to double check it again before we make it avalable in the routes library.
