You may have noticed something about our social media, We don't post a lot of videos or pictures of DJ setups, packed dance floors, or about our events in general.
That's intentional.
Anyone can take 30 seconds from a five-hour reception, add a trending song, make a few quick cuts, and make it look like the greatest party ever. But can they deliver when they actually show up to your wedding?
At How Sweet It Is Events, we're not trying to create a wedding that looks good on our social media. We're trying to create a wedding that feels incredible for you and your guests.
Being a great wedding DJ is about so much more than filling a dance floor. When it's done right, most of your guests won't even realize how much is happening behind the scenes. They'll just know they had a great time.
That's also why our DJ setups are intentionally minimal. We don't want a giant DJ booth, walls of equipment, or unnecessary gear becoming the focal point of your reception.
We aren't constantly filming: We're working.
When we're DJing, or decorating your wedding, we're not thinking about what content we need for Instagram. We're watching everything, managing your timeline, communicating with the venue and vendors, preparing for what's coming next, and making sure your night goes the way it should. Because your wedding isn't our content shoot.
So no, you're probably not going to see a highlight reel and some clever editing; because, our couples do that for us.
Read our reviews. Talk to the people who have hired us. Look at the experiences our couples have had.
We don't need to make your wedding look like a great time, we need to make sure it actually is one.
