Cooperstown Concerts celebrates the many not-for-profit arts organizations in our area, such as Fenimore Chamber Orchestra, that present world-class performing arts and musical entertainment right here in our beautiful Village.

Fenimore Chamber Orchestra will perform the fourth concert of their 2024-25 season on Saturday, March 15 at 3:00 PM at Christ Church in Cooperstown. The program will feature the winner of their first-ever nationally-advertised Young Persons Concerto Competition, which drew 22 entries from nine states, with competitors ranging from 14 to 21 years of age. Even though all of the entrants exhibited an extraordinary level of technical and artistic achievement, the winner, Isabel Chen of Eastman School of Music, was the clear standout for the maturity of her artistry.

The concert will also feature the premiere performance of an instrumental suite from Joseph Bologne's 18th-century opera "L'Amant Anonyme" ("The Anonymous Lover") and will conclude with Mozart's beloved Symphony No. 29, composed when he himself was just 18 years old.
