The 19th season of the Cooperstown Summer Music Festival runs May 7 - October 8, 2017 and features classical masterworks as well as musical innovators. In 1999, flutist Linda Chesis began the Cooperstown Chamber Music Festival with a three concert series. Since then, the festival has grown to offer the region more than 100 concerts, spanning a wide range of musical genres including classical, con

temporary, jazz , bluegrass, childrenโ€™s, and cabaret performances. The Festival has featured internationally acclaimed artists and ensembles such as Hank Jones, the Tokyo String Quartet, the American String Quartet, the St. Lawrence String Quartet, the Horszowski Trio, Kurt Elling, Tim Fain, Bill Charlap, Keisuke Wakao, the Tierney Sutton Band, the Juilliard String Quartet, Simone Dinnerstein, and Mark Oโ€™Connor.
