Wild Goose Creative facilitates the creation of art across multiple mediums by providing resources and experiences for the Columbus creative community while connecting artists and audiences in a versatile space. Wild Goose Creative is a catalyst and a gathering place for local artists, audiences, and creative people. With a multipurpose creative space at 188 McDowell Street that is sometimes a gal

lery, sometimes a school, a kitchen table, a living room, a concert hall, or a dance floor, Wild Goose Creative cultivates the creation of excellent and surprising art. It’s about sustainable partnerships and artistic collaborations. It’s about giving artists resources and facilitating their work. It’s about creating a space for people to experience art and engage each other, to tell stories and listen. It's about participating in the hospitable arts culture of Columbus, Ohio. Mostly, Wild Goose Creative is about helping to build a vibrant community of people who care about art and who want to change the world. All the programs you see listed on our site either got their start or have found a temporary home at Wild Goose Creative and are coordinated by creative people in the Columbus community. WGC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is supported by community donations and by generous grants from the Columbus Foundation, The Ohio Arts Council, and The Greater Columbus Arts Council. The grants from GCAC have been made possible by the City of Columbus. We have also received grants through The United Way of Central Ohio and the Coalition for a Non-Violent Columbus. And lastly, we have amazing members.

Looking for a unique and accessible venue for your next event? Look no further! You've got a vibrant non-profit arts gallery nestled in the heart of our city.

Our dynamic 3,000-square-foot space is perfect for hosting everything from private parties and gallery shows to workshops and performances. With features like an ADA-accessible stage equipped with sound and lighting, two gender-neutral restrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, high-speed internet, and a full bar, we've got everything you need to make your event a success.

Rates: $150/hr, 4 hr minimum

Coming up tomorrow night at Wild Goose Creative: Figure Art 🖌🎨

Did you know our weekly Figure Art sessions feature a live figure model for artistic reference? Poses will be gestural and short to begin and will increase in duration as the session progresses, culminating in either two thirty minute poses or one hour long pose broken up into two 30 minute blocks.
