After the Parties, the Descent Begins

The costumes are hung up, the candy’s been eaten, and the noise of the season is settling.

This is the moment the real magic begins.

As the wheel turns and we step into the dark half of the year, the invitation shifts from celebration to communion, to meet what’s stirring beneath the surface, to listen, to honor what’s ready to be released.

This Sunday evening in Columbus, we’ll gather for ritual to stand at the crossroads with Hecate and open to the deep stirring in the unconscious, the underworld, the call of destiny, the pull of fate.

If you’ve felt that tug toward something deeper, this is the time.

Where Magick Lives Now

Over time, I’ve come to love the quiet of small circles.
There’s room to breathe, to listen, to feel the shift when the sacred enters. You get to know each other really well.

Our gatherings are rarely more than ten people. It's just enough to hold the current without losing the intimacy.

We ground before and after, we share, we witness. We support each other.

This season’s ritual with Hecate is a way to meet yourself again at the turning of the year. An audience to listen for what wants to emerge from the dark.

Hecate stands where all paths meet, between what has been and what is yet to come.

She carries torches to guide those searching through shadow, helping us navigate the unseen.

She is the torchbearer, key keeper, and guardian of thresholds.
For those drawn to shadow work or creative transformation, she teaches how to hold both darkness and light as sacred.

Join us as we honor Hecate’s wisdom and open the way for the months ahead.

What It Feels Like to Step into the Circle

People often ask what happens during ritual, and it’s hard to explain until you’ve stood inside one.

You engage all your senses: the scent of incense, the glow of candles, the sound of chanting and breath.
It isn’t performance, it’s active participation of all members. If it felt like performance it was theatrics, not magic.

You speak to the divine with your voice and your energetic presence.

This Samhain, our ritual will invite the energy of Hecate to speak through one of the priestesses in oracular form who will be offering insight for each person at the crossroads.

There’s no way to describe the feeling fully. You have to experience it for yourself.

The skeleton giants are out and pumpkin spice is everywhere — but for those who walk the witch’s path, the true new year begins in November.
Samhain marks the threshold between worlds, when the veil thins and we turn inward toward the dark half of the year.

Rather than compete with the October bustle, the Esoteric Arts Guild gathers at the beginning of November, close to astrological Samhain, when the Sun reaches 15° Scorpio.

This year, we meet Saturday, November 2nd at 6pm for a ritual with Hecate, Goddess of the Crossroads — a night to find our footing as the light wanes and the deeper work begins.

It is more fluid than IFS but a lot of where IFS came from is from active imagination.
