As we make our way through this cold winter season, we are taking some time to reflect on this past year at OVB. As every year, we are so excited for the new beginnings we are blessed to be a part of. 2025 was also a year of new beginnings and big changes for us and our family. In August we sent our first OVB employee, our son, off to college in Mankato. Then in September our daughter started Kindergarten in Fall Creek.
Wrapping up our wedding season in October, has left us with some decisions to make. With Wisconsin liquor laws changing in 2026, we held off booking any weddings for this year. We wanted to take some time to think about what’s best for our family, the future of our business, and the wedding industry as a whole. We are heartbroken that other venues are closing their doors due to these new law changes. We both feel the need to continue sharing the beauty, and honor the heritage of this family barn. We are excited for the changes to come in 2027. Stay tuned.
