Chippewa Youth Hockey Association (CYHA) recently installed a brand-new, state-of-the-art chiller system—an investment in the future of skating and on-ice sports here in the Chippewa Valley. Our rink is home to the Chippewa Steel NAHL program, boys’ and girls’ high school teams, multiple youth teams with over 200 players, an all-girls youth co-op, and our local figure skating club.

This facility isn’t just an ice rink—it’s a cornerstone of community activity, youth development, teamwork, and healthy living.

We rely on the generosity of local supporters like you to continue offering a safe, vibrant space for athletes of all ages.

Open Skate is every Sunday 6p - 8p until March at Chippewa Ice Arena.

This is a free to attend event. Skate rentals are available on a first come first serve basis for $3.00 a rental.

Check out how FUN the first session of our Get Out And Learn (GOAL) fall program was!

We had more new skaters than ever before & a huge turn out of helpers from the CYHA association & local community - THANK YOU!

We pride ourselves on being able to give a nearly 1-on-1 experience for the little one's first adventure out on the ice.

Believe it or not - we had A LOT of the kids step out there Sunday not being able to stand on skates & by the time the 1-hour was up - they were ZOOMING and hard to convince to leave the ice!

So incredible to see improvement that quick! 😲

We can't wait to see everyone again this next Sunday for Session 2!
