Hang out with me while I make my girlfriend an arrangement!
Today we’re celebrating our 3 year anniversary! When I think of Ella, I’m always drawn towards soft yellows, orange, and the gentlest pinks. This vase is actually from the very first arrangement I made for her! I told her once that if she were a flower, she’d be a dahlia. Now, three years later, I’m changing my answer; she’s an orchid. Whimsical, elegant, beautiful, and vibrant.
PS: Don’t worry, I’ll change before dinner. 👻

These beauties are believed to symbolize order, harmony, balance and spiritual connection. In Victorian flower language, they represent joy, love, and spiritual connection!

A: The meaning behind the flowers plays a huge part in our process. Are you sending to new parents? We’ll set you up with playful and airy blooms, a mixture with texture and movement. Anniversary? Stunning focal flowers, flowing greenery, and anything that’ll leave a big impression. For a birthday? We’ll grab the happiest blooms, varieties that scream “LET’S CELEBRATE!”

FLOWER FACT FRIDAY!
Did you know that nearby fruit (like that bowl of apples & bananas on your counter!) can speed up the wilting process? Ethylene gas is a naturally occurring ‘aging hormone’ for plants. As your fruit ripens, it produces more gas, which can trigger your flowers’ own ethylene production to spike. Apples, bananas, and avocados are some of the worst flower killers!
PRO TIP: As your flowers age, it’s natural for certain varieties to go before others. Pull out the spent blooms to ensure that their ethylene isn’t affecting the others!

Classic, elegant, timeless. An affectionate tradition for many, a rite of passage for florists, and a through-line that connects us all; from the farm to the kitchen table.

Something about tapping into that history makes it all the more meaningful. All the more memorable. All the more beautiful.

September is flying by, but that means FALL BLOOMS ARE COMING!!!

Although you can get many varieties of flowers year round, they’re always much more spectacular in their natural season. Not to mention, more affordable! That’s why you’ll always find a rotating selection in our cooler. Mother nature knows best!
