Today we jump a little higher as classes go live because this spunky ball of energy hits the schedule for her first official class time.

Help us celebrate on the podium this Thursday at 6p.

Sound off in the comments if we'll see you, and if you're out of town, leave our grad and birthday girl some love! Her hard work, dedication and limitless curiosity has landed her exactly where she's meant to be.

This is a community class and Drop Ins are just $10.

Introducing Third Pace Run Club šŸ

A weekly community run built for people who want movement to feel a little less transactional and a little more human. This isn’t about PRs, split times, or proving anything. It’s about fresh air, familiar faces, conversations that happen somewhere between mile one and coffee after, and creating another place to belong inside this community.

Some people will run fast. Some people will run/walk. Some people will come mostly for the people. All of it counts.

Leading the club is Dr. Rachel Heller — someone who embodies exactly what we hope this becomes. Rachel brings a rare mix of depth, steadiness, intelligence, and approachability to the experience. She understands movement not just as performance, but as connection, resilience, and care for the whole person. The kind of person who makes showing up feel less intimidating the second you meet her.

Who is Third Pace for?

šŸ“Œthe longtime runner rebuilding consistency
šŸ“Œthe person training for something big
šŸ“Œthe person who swore they’d ā€œnever be a runnerā€
šŸ“Œthe one craving community outside of work and screens
šŸ“Œ anyone who wants another reason to spend time outside with good people

Not home.
Not work.
Something in between.

That’s the idea.

Third Pace Run Club launches Friday, June 5th at 6:30a (and every Friday thereafter).

Come as you are.
Keep pace together.

Some nights we invite you to move, and others we you to listen.

On June 6, we’re hosting Between the Lines—an intimate acoustic evening with Mary Lambert.

Designed as a stripped-back, intentional gathering—where music and spoken word share space, and the stories behind the work take center stage. Widely recognized for her work on Same Love, Mary has built a body of work that sits at the intersection of vulnerability, identity, and cultural impact. Her performances move fluidly between song and poetry, creating an experience that feels as personal as it does collective.

Tickets are $108, a nod to Gilbert Baker’s original Pride flag design, and 100% of proceeds will benefit .sc .action

Doors at 6:30p. Show at 7:30p.

And you thought we were done with our May surprises? Residency Announcement šŸ“£

From May 24–29 we’re welcoming (home) to The Drop In.

Collaboration has always been core to how we build. We believe in cross-pollination—of ideas, practices, and people. It’s how spaces stay alive. It’s how community deepens. This residency is a natural extension of that belief.

Kate is an E-RYT 500+ teacher known for creatively dynamic Vinyasa and deeply reflective coaching that invites honest self-inquiry. Her work moves beyond the physical and into the conversations and questions that shape how we live.

As the founder of and RISE Retreats, Kate creates experiences rooted in movement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection. Her path has taken her from Charleston to the Pacific coast of Panama and across the globe—building spaces where people come back to themselves, and to each other.

Having been recognized as a Legacy Ambassador and Charleston’s Best Yoga Teacher, Kate’s work is both expansive and deeply personal.

This residency will weave seamlessly into our schedule, offering space to move, reflect, and connect in new ways, while staying rooted in what makes The Drop In what it is.

In 3 Days...

May's schedule is filled to the brim with places to play, to be curious, to step out of your comfort zone, and to connect.

We’re centering maternal mental health whether you’re in it, coming out of it, or supporting someone who is.

Alongside that:
– Workshops that go deeper than the sweat
– Events that offer an opportunity to know your neighbors inside and outside the studio walls
– Collaborations with partners we respect, locally and beyond

And on May 6, for World Mental Health Day, we’re opening the doors wide: $10 classes. All day.

The full May schedule is live.
Come find your way in.
