Kid Ray is a veteran DJ who was integral in growing the scene in Boston since the early 90s, with residencies at the Phoenix Landing, at Hibernia, and Mercury Bar- just to name a few. Working at many record shops throughout the 90s, he always had his finger on the pulse of the music being produced.
When he moved up to Maine, he helped form the A/V Club- a collective with legendary status in the local scene, known for putting electronic music on the map for Portland Maine. He also ran Open Decks at Flask Lounge for more than a decade.
As a DJ, he is known for fusing tribal/latin beats with heavy hitting tech house, while dropping some freaky disco touches to boot.
