This past weekend we served delicious Spring forward farm to table food

Of course Hawk was there to try the B Bar Ranch Beef Hotodg on a Brioche Bun with heirloom carrots and apples and a side of unconditional love.

Happy Holidays to one and all!

I learned yesterday the shift from the Year of the Snake to the Year of the Horse is often described as a transition from introspection and release to action and new direction. One perspective is that the Snake helps shed the old, while the Horse moves the new version forward. This transition is seen as a movement from shedding to becoming, and from release to direction. Other descriptions include moving from stillness to stride, and from inner refinement to bold expression. The Snake year’s focus on shedding and honest self-assessment prepares for the Horse’s call to rise, clarify, and move with freedom and direction. The gentle end of the Snake year leads to the Horse year’s momentum, bringing freedom, clarity, and new direction. The transition encourages using lessons learned to clarify future direction.

Where 2025 cleared your path, 2026 moves you forward! We look forward to being at your table in 2026! Thank you for your support in 2025.

Love Chef Mel, Seasonal Team and Hawk

To cook is to love,
The true essence of being
a Chef isn’t found in recipes or techniques, but in your ability to care.
When you cook with intention,
when you season with empathy and serve with gratitude, your food becomes more than sustenance it becomes connection.

🧑‍🍳 always dreaming about the next way to create more then just food for the ultimate experience with intention.

Food is just one part of the experience.

There was a day after creating many farm dinners when I realized eveything I created was “bigger” then the plate it was served on.

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where Nature may heal and cheer and give strength to body and soul alike.

We can learn to live together.

First we break the bread.
