You know what’s really sexy on a wedding day?

Not having to answer 73 questions before noon.

Hiring a wedding planner isn’t about being “extra.”

It’s about getting to actually experience your wedding instead of coordinating it.

While you’re crying during your vows, I’m texting vendors.

While you’re taking sunset photos, I’m making sure grandma got fed.

While you’re dancing, I’m putting out tiny fires you will (hopefully) never know existed.

Your only job is to get married.

Mine is making sure you don’t have to think about anything else.

we’re not just planning a wedding. we’re planning a MARRIAGE... and, obviously, throwing one hell of a party while we’re at it. 🥂
because the flowers are beautiful. the tablescape is chef’s kiss. the mountain backdrop? unreal.
but the part we really care about is making sure your wedding feels like the beginning of your actual life together — not just one really expensive day you spent saying hi to 400 people.
so yes, let’s make it gorgeous. let’s make it wildly you. let’s dance until our feet hurt and have the best time doing it.
because you’re getting married. and that’s worth celebrating BIG. 🤍🏔️

How often do we think about a Montana western wedding?
7 days a week. 365 days a year. 🤠
Because honestly... does it get better than getting married with the mountains behind you, your boots in the dirt, cowboy hats, and your favorite people packed around you?
We think NOT.
Western weddings just hit differently in Montana. They’re a little rugged, a little romantic, wildly fun, and somehow manage to feel both timeless and completely you.
Throw in some horses and a dance floor full of people who refuse to leave?
yeah... we’ll be thinking about that forever. 🏔️

you can plan your entire wedding yourself.
you can ask your family to run around handling logistics all day.
you can also buy lettuce and choose not to wash it.
technically... all true. 😂
but in this world, we don’t recommend either.
Your wedding day is not the time for you, your mom, your aunt, and your cousin’s boyfriend to be running around with clipboards trying to figure out where the chairs are supposed to go.
Let your people be your people. Let them drink ch*****ne, ugly cry during the ceremony, dance too hard, and actually enjoy the day with you.
And let someone else handle the timeline, vendor arrivals, setup, cleanup, and “where are the boutonnieres???” emergencies.
future you will be VERY grateful.

When Carrie and Bill told me they wanted to create an unforgettable guest experience, I had one thought...

“We’re thinking too small.” 🚁

So instead of a traditional walk down the aisle, we sent them up in a helicopter while their guests sipped ch*****ne, completely unaware of what was about to happen.

Then the helicopter landed.

The crowd erupted.

Safe to say... mission accomplished. 🤍

This is your reminder that your wedding doesn’t have to follow the script. Sometimes the best ideas are the ones nobody sees coming.

I have a confession.

When I got engaged, I genuinely thought planning my own wedding would be easy.

I’m a wedding planner. I do this for a living. I know the timelines, the logistics, the vendors, the budgets. I thought I’d simply put on my “planner hat,” make a few decisions, and call it a day.

I also thought I could keep my emotions separate from the process.

I could not.

Somewhere between trying to make everyone happy, navigating family expectations, answering everyone’s opinions, and carrying the invisible mental load... I lost sight of what the day was actually about.

Us.

The funny thing is, I tell my couples all the time that weddings are emotional. I remind them that decision fatigue is real. That family dynamics can be complicated. That having someone to advocate for them is invaluable.

Then I somehow convinced myself I’d be the exception.
Spoiler alert: I wasn’t.

Looking back, if I could change one thing, I would’ve hired a wedding planner.

It doesn’t stop your aunt from having opinions. It doesn’t make family expectations disappear. It doesn’t magically make every decision feel easy because you happen to know the “right” answer.
Sometimes the people who need support the most are the ones who spend all day being that support for everyone else.

So if you’re on the fence about hiring a planner because you think, “I can do it myself...”
You probably can.

But the better question is:
Do you want to?

think elevated cowboy boots, classic tuxes, felt hats done right, turquoise details, and just the right amount of Montana.
it’s not about dressing up as a cowboy—it’s about leaning into the place you’re celebrating and making it feel authentic to you.
safe to say this dress code understood the assignment. every single guest showed up looking incredible, and the whole day felt like the perfect mix of timeless, elegant, and a little wild.
