I wish I could go back to my boys being this little and keep them that way forever. Don’t get me wrong, I love them for all that they are as the little men they have become, but I sure miss every squishy roll, their chubby little fingers always grabbing for mine, and their sweet little faces still so round with those perfectly pink little cheeks.

Kelly & Reece’s wedding at Sparrows Point Country Club this past weekend was perfection from start to finish. Even with the massive storm that swept through just after dinner and tried to rain on their sunset photos, the day carried on so smoothly.
Thankfully the storm was quick, and we held tight until the perfect moment to hop into the golf cart and dash over to the marina to capture some quiet, sweet little moments of this beautiful pair.

I feel like I photograph each and every session so much differently as a mom, than I ever did as “just Emily”. I see the start of a brand new future ahead in a beautiful young girl, I see the smiles and love beaming from two proud parents and a partner who has been there every step of the way. But as a Mama, I also feel this mama’s heart skipping a beat or two, I can hear her voice quiver a little while she tucks her baby girls hair behind her ear once more. Lucky she can still do that, as parent it’s all that you want to be able to ever do, just be there for every single moment and cheer your baby on like it’s the very first time they ever took a step toward you with those beautiful innocent little eyes so many yesterdays ago.

I feel that way every day with my babies, already. And when I imagine them in these big milestones one day (in I wish the far more distant future), and how much greater and different our love will be even then, it just makes my heart explode.

All of the ugly tears over here. 🥹

What’s one thing you wish you could relive from the newborn Stage with your Little One?

I miss the snuggly contact naps I had with Charlie as a newborn, and I wish I had more of with Wyatt. The slow down is so much harder as you add more tiny humans- that tempo just keeps speeding up no matter how many times you try to slow things down. I feel it now, the slow down. Just a little, but I think we’re all working on getting more of that every day. I think we all should.

Clara’s In-Home newborn session in Baltimore County was the sweetest! Her big fur siblings are on duty and ready to protect baby Sis from anything that may come along. Especially cameras. Those are very suspicious things and need lots of inspection.

This stunning maternity session was the perfect mix of “touch a truck” crossed with dreamy maternity session. This couple has been long time part of the EEG Photography family now, and one thing we NEVER have is the same old photoshoot. Each and every time we have the most unique experiences and venues, and I live for it, and their sonGrayson sure wasn’t complaining about this new adventure either! He looked like a natural pilot in his cool shades behind that windshield too!

I’m overjoyed that their newest little pilot has made a safe landing and has arrived with the cutest little cheeks you could ever dream up, just like big brothers! 🤍
