I see you, Mama!
You worked your tail off to get the kids decent, to comb their hair and cut their nails and put them in cute outfits that you want to be just so perfect. In those adorable shoes they will act like are pure torture and outfits they likely don’t sport on the day to day.
I see the stress of trying to get everyone out the door on time and hoping that nobody drools on, throws up, eats anything messy to ruin their outfit or above all, looses an article of clothing along the way.
You ran them out ragged at the park so that they would be a little less chaotic and energetic for their session, and even tried to nap them, including that older one who never really takes one but would totally benefit from it. You try to keep them awake in the car and everyone from arguing because YOU want this session, but they all act like it’s a bit or torture and complain the entire car ride most likely.
But I promise, even when you arrive to your session and you feel chaotic and you’re missing a nail and not sure about how you nervous sweat through your outfit or you forgot your other earring, it will all come together. Somehow it just does.
I was there, a day ago, and I felt the throws of ages 3 & 6.
One of them tackled the other on the way out the door, the little one bit the big one, they both screamed the first half of a ride about who is a better listener (NEITHER 😅😜), and then passed OUT 10 minutes before we arrived for our session.
I’ve been there. I see you, and I appreciate all that you do to create these lifelong memories for your family.
You’re a damn shooting star, a hero among us all!
