I didn’t expect to love this color combo as much as I do.

Silver + gold is a classic New Year’s palette… but in flowers it usually turns into faux stems, glitter, and jewels. Hard no.

This month’s FlowerMore design challenge is Try Something New, and for me that meant asking: what if this palette actually worked with local flowers and foliage?

This video and our design challenges aren’t about perfection. It’s about taking an idea and running with it. Not worrying if it’s “right.” Not overthinking the outcome. Just practicing.

The holidays are chaos.
So obviously the solution is…
✨ make a tiny flower arrangement😂

Especially today, on the solstice.
The darkest day = cozy flower energy.

You don’t need much:
some greens
a few berries
a pinecone you definitely stole from your neighbors lawn
flowers if you have them

Keep it simple.
No overthinking.
This is NOT about perfection.

It’s about fun.

Just 10–15 minutes of making something.
I promise it’ll make your table (and your mood) better.

The holidays can feel bonkers. There is so much to get done and so little time to make it happen. Making a holiday centerpiece for your table might be the last thing on your To Do list.

But what if you could make a beautiful Christmas centerpiece at home without complicated tools or a ton of ingredients.

Today, I'll show you how to do it.

Here’s the process I used:
• Choose a sturdy vase
• Add chicken wire for structure
• Build a base with 2–3 evergreens
• Add branches for line and interest
• Finish with flowers (if you have them - but really they're not essential!)

Simple ingredients. Thoughtful design. Cozy results.

I’m obsessed with Winter Rose poinsettias. These flowers have so much meaning to me and connect me with so many growers and experiences on my flower journey. From the first time I saw them at ’s farm to picking them up in Pennsylvania last week at .flowers - every time I use them I love them even more.
