The rain rolled through, but these runners absolutely brought the heat at this year’s Brevard Classic — with ALL FOUR course records going down on a soaking wet day!

Rain poured. Shoes squished. And somehow… it made the Brevard Classic even more fun. Soaked from start to finish… and we wouldn’t change a thing. 💙

Huge thanks to Grace Brevard Church, our volunteers, partners, and every single person who showed up smiling and embraced the rain with us.

We needed this rain so badly… but WOW Mother Nature really picked the Brevard Classic 5K & 12K to let it all out. ☔️😂

Puddles were splashed.
Shoes were soaked.
Rain jackets gave up.
And somehow the smiles just kept getting bigger.

From kids jumping through puddles, families running together, handmade signs on the sidelines, and soaked volunteers cheering loud — today honestly felt like being a kid again.

And despite the monsoon… ALL FOUR course records were broken today with runners taking home prize money for their performances. Incredible!!

One of the biggest highlights of the day was the unbelievable hospitality from Grace Brevard Church. They opened their doors wide to our runners, volunteers, staff, and spectators and gave everyone a warm, dry place to gather before and after the race. Their kindness, generosity, and community spirit made such a huge difference today and we truly cannot thank them enough.

Huge thanks as well to Heart of Brevard, White Squirrel Weekend, and the City of Brevard for hosting and supporting this race in May this year!

And to all of our volunteers, course marshals, bike leads, law enforcement officers, photographers, iDaph crew, and every single participant who showed up and embraced the wild weather with the best attitudes imaginable… THANK YOU.

The Brevard Classic got absolutely drenched today… and somehow that made it even more memorable. 💙🌧️🏃

We’re excited to officially announce Least of These Asheville as the charity partner for the South Asheville Turkey Trot presented by Hunter Subaru.

Every Saturday in downtown Asheville, their team serves hot meals, clothing, encouragement, and love to those experiencing homelessness in our community. Their work is rooted in compassion and service, and we are beyond grateful for the impact they continue to make.

Want to help support their mission? You can make a donation when registering for the South Asheville Turkey Trot, or even better, spend a Saturday morning serving alongside their amazing team in downtown Asheville. Every meal served, every donation, and every volunteer makes a difference.

Nothing beats spending time outdoors with good people and a purpose. 💙

We loved teaming up with for the Jump Off Rock Trash Dash! We picked up trash, shared plenty of laughs, and enjoyed the beauty of the place we’re lucky enough to call home.

Big thanks to every volunteer who came out and helped make a difference. This community always shows up in the best way. 🙌

Honestly, some of the best runs happen in a little rain. 🌧️

If you ran the Brevard Classic last year, you already know — a little rain didn’t stop anyone from showing up and crushing it. And that’s exactly why you’ll find us downtown Brevard this Saturday morning.

With record turnout, White Squirrel Weekend energy, and a whole lot of good people coming together, it’s going to be a fun morning no matter what the forecast says.
